Welcome to ASYLUM Training Center! We're Saskatoon’s community based home for elite martial arts. We offer UFC Certified Strength and Conditioning, Practical Wellness Programming, as well as modern and traditional Combat Arts Training which includes MMA, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, Luta Livre, SAW, Judo, and BJJ.

Our community based programs include the Bullyproof Youth program, Bullyproof Basics, 4Wolves Kickboxing, Women’s Only Self-Defence, and Road to Recovery.

Asylum MMA & Kickboxing

Our 4-day flow rotates through striking and MMA fundamentals, advanced striking IQ, strength & conditioning, and live application drills / sparring.

New and experienced athletes are guaranteed to get results quick; this program does not gloss over the finer details.

We take pride in sharing quality information, thoroughly drilling and explaining defensive and offensive technique, timing, range, footwork, angles, head movement, entries/exits, setups, strategy, building combinations, all combined into blending striking, clinchwork, takedowns and submissions together effectively.

Outlaw MMA

Learn takedowns from a high level Judoka, scramble like a submission arts wrestler, control like a catch wrestler, pressure like Luta Livre, and finish like a BJJ black belt, all from one coach.

This unique combination makes Outlaw MMA one of the most complete, efficient, and elite MMA Grappling programs available.

Join Prof. Eric Wilson, the Affiliate Representative for Luta Livre in Western Canada and he is the 2nd UFC-Certified Strength & Conditioning Professionals in Canadian History.

This program is beginner-friendly and welcoming to all, offering world-class training in an environment anyone can step into with confidence.

Kids & Youth Programs

Bully Proof Basics (6–9 years old) builds coordination, focus, listening skills, and teamwork through games and beginner friendly martial arts training.

Bully Proof Youth (10–14 years old) Mixed Martial Arts Program for Youth/Teens with mentorship and guidance. Situational Awareness Talks included.

Through structured training, clear boundaries, and positive mentorship, Bully Proof gives young people the tools to stand up for themselves, support their peers, and make better choices in and out of the gym.

Kids train under constant coach supervision. Live contact is introduced slowly with safety gear. We can advise on starter gear before you purchase.

Women’s Self-Defence 101

4Wolves Kickboxing

Every Friday at 7PM we open the doors for our free community kickboxing class.

This program is led by Billy Torrence, he's worked as a Support Worker, Counsellor, and a Community Outreach Worker. He is a former pro athlete with a Mental Health & Wellness Diploma, as well as 5+ Years coaching experience, 5+ years business experience, and 15+ Years martial arts experience.

He is dedicated to providing barrier free programming and indigenous culture to Saskatoons inner city community. 4Wolves Kickboxing provides a fun, healthy, and positive activity, followed by a smudge and sharing circle, without cost.

Road to Recovery:
Mental Health & Addiction Support

Whether you’re struggling with mental health, maintaining sobriety, or rebuilding after trauma, ASYLUM's Road to Recovery Program offers a structured path for anyone searching for hope and committed to bettering their situation.

If you’re ready to rebuild your identity, rewrite your story, and find strength within yourself in mind, body, and soul this program could be for you.

We provide confidential one-on-one support and an optional one-month sponsorship for unlimited program access. Through martial arts, we learn to release negativity, build stress tolerance, and automatically create a healthy routine.

Participants commit to training a selected amount of times per week while using Self Check-Ins to clarify direction and purpose. At the end of the month, an Identity Contract helps solidify momentum toward a healthier, more intentional life.

What ages do you accept?

Kids 6–14 for Bully Proof programs; teens and adults for MMA, kickboxing, grappling, and self-defence.

I’m new—where should I start?

Begin with Asylum MMA & Kickboxing or Women’s Self-Defence 101. We’ll place you based on goals and schedule.

Do you offer free classes?

Yes—4Wolves Kickboxing is free every Friday. Trials may be available for other programs. Ask if there is a specific program you are interested in

What should I bring to my first class?

Athletic wear, water, and a positive attitude. Optional: mouthguard/hand wraps (we’ll advise before you buy).

Is sparring required?

No. Live application is optional and introduced gradually with coach approval.
